2044 Earth, july 8th the world was not papered for whats about to hit them.
2.something happens
The first ever Kaiju made its way to from the ocean and singled whipped out most life on earth with in days. nuclear weapon was used during this attack, but it only let to more damage. the kaiju isn't immue to the radiation. The kaiju died soon after the attack. the kaiju Blood and the radiation mixed, and created a new kind of disease that changed people.
3. they don't like it
now earth is no longer able to support life on the surface. people now living under ground bunkers set up by the government. This was home, but not a permeant home. It was never designed to be permeant. soon power was going out and food and resource was running low. So mechs of mass destruction was created to go up to the surface to find goods to keep the bunkers going. Soon mechs was just like a house hold car. owned by most family, but the top tier mechs are only for the government uses.
4. they barely fix it
There are different kind of kaijus that walks the land ( level 1, level 2, level 3, level X )
mechs comes in sizes too. ( S, M, L, XL )
goods that was closest to the bunker was running low. the mech only has a 60 min durability before needing recharge. they have reached the farthest point that these mechs can take them, so gathering goods can no longer be relied on mechs now. during this time the kaijus have discovered the human bunker and planned a full on attack. Humans with no resource can not power the mechs and any damaged mechs could not be fixed. in the end people took every mech that they owned and fought the kaijus. The war was finally won by the new proto mecha named, neon that used kaiju blood as fuel and was over all more powerful than normal mechs.
5. they go back home.
the war was won by the humans, and the surface was reclaimed by the humans, but in some far corners of the earth some kaiju is still alive and threat of the level X kaiju coming back is still there.
